This webinar series is hosted by the the Desert Research Institute in partnership with the Climate Science Alliance, the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals, and the Collaborative of Native Nations for Climate Transformation and Stewardship (CNNCTS).  Overall, this series examines the effects of extreme heat on Indigenous communities and explores innovative adaptation strategies at the household, community, and regional/policy levels. Each session hosts a panel of Indigenous leaders, researchers, and climate experts as they share solutions and insight on extreme heat impacts and adaptation strategies.
