The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI), American Public Health Association (APHA), and ecoAmerica are offering this free training, Public Health Actions for Extreme Heat Protections, to expand participant knowledge and impact on addressing the health effects of extreme heat on individuals and populations. This course provides attendees with tools to inspire a variety of audiences, including clinicians, public health professionals, policymakers, and community members, to take action on extreme heat protections.
At the end of the training, individuals are invited to join the vibrant online community of thousands of fellow Ambassadors supported with regular advocacy opportunities, networking events, workshops, and access to the slides from the training and additional resources developed exclusively for Ambassadors.
