A panel of experts will discuss critical extreme heat preparedness and advocacy topics for both parents and expecting parents.  As extreme heat becomes more common, families need to understand how to prepare and protect themselves from the health risks associated with rising temperatures. This discussion will cover practical ways to teach children about climate change, strategies to help expecting mothers and children stay safe during extreme heat events, and opportunities for parent advocacy on safety-focused policies and practices in schools and communities. Panelists will share their knowledge, insights, and practical tools for fostering climate resilience today and in the next generation.
